My novel is about a young girl who has to take in her best friend due to the Nazis searching for Jewish people to relocate. The struggles the family has to go through to keep Ellen Rosen a secret is a great challenge. The girls live their lives growing up staying clear of soldiers. The Nazis went after Jews wanting to kill them all. Hitler and other Nazis believed that some races are superior to others. They felt threatened by most other races. Nazis took the Jewish people away to "concentration camps" where they were kept until they died. Life was not fair there and many people tried to escape due to the lack of hospitality. Most of the Jewish tried hiding from the Nazis but most were taken away.

I think this explains how mistreated the Jewish people of Germany and Europe were treated. Why did Hitler and other Nazis feel that way towards other races/religions?

I've read that book before and I think it explains really well how life was at the time. It's also pretty scary to think about that happening to you and having to live your life in secret.

I think that doing this to people just because they were Jews was completely wrong & unfair

Sophie, this sounds like an interesting book. I was wondering what the title of the book was? I was just wondering because I might want to buy and read this book someday.

Your book sounds really interesting! It really shows how much the jews lives changed during the WWII and how horribly they were treated.

It is really sad and unbeleivable to me how it must've been growing up worrying about if you are going to be taken and killed just because of your religion. It makes my life seem so much easier by just going to school, sports, and other activities and just feeling perfectly safe

I have read this book before and you did a really good job comparing it to the world during that time and putting it into perspective.

i would really hate being in this situation because i would miss my family. but i would just wait it out because fighting it would make it worse.
